You might have come to this page because

  • You are worried about an unpleasant incident that you have experienced
  • You regularly experience unpleasant incidents
  • You are unsure whether your situation is normal or not
  • You just want more information

Abuse is a horrible word and a horrible subject. Abuse can be about neglecting people or harming them physically or sexually. It can be about taking their money, or bullying them. Sadly there are plenty of people who are prepared to exploit people who are vulnerable.

But we can start to make things better!

It is not easy, but if you know of someone who is suffering this harm you must tell someone else. If you are in this position too, please let us try to help you.

Whether you are a child, young person or adult, you should be able to live free from the fear of abuse or neglect. CCP will try to ensure that every client of ours is safe, well cared for, and able to realise their potential.

All individuals working with children, young people and their families have a duty and responsibility to report any allegations or concerns of a safeguarding nature which comes to their attention, CCP cannot and will not agree to keep secret any incidents, allegations or concerns that come to our attention.

There can be no secrets and no hiding place when it comes to exposing the abuse of others.
