St Georges Dragons raise £650 for CCP

On Friday 5th September a Sponsored Body Waxing was held at The Waxing Bar, 8 Bennington Street, Cheltenham.

Organiser Jessica Lacy persuaded the St. Georges Dragons football team to raise money for CCP by having selected body parts waxed. The event also featured a prize raffle, and through the generosity of team members and their sponsors, £650 was raised.

Jessica said “We had a fabulous evening and I'm very proud of the boys for
raising so much money. We got through a great deal of wax and a few screams were
heard, but it was absolutely worth it to help a local charity."
