Sylvia Salmon Retires

Sylvia Salmon, Chief Executive of CCP, has retired after 18 years in the position.

Sylvia has overseen the growth of CCP from 2 staff and a turnover of £40k, to Gloucestershire's leading social care charity with 60 staff, 50 volunteers and a £1.4m turnover. She has been the driving force behind the establishment of Cheltenham Foyer for young homeless people, the Appropriate Adult Juvenile Support Team, the Educational Pathways training centre for children excluded from school, Floating Support and Family Support services and the highly successful Cheltenham 1st Stop model of integrated delivery of Information, Advice and Guidance.
Sylvia is succeeded as Chief Executive by Cordell Ray who, over the past 8 years, has worked in all CCP services and has previously held the posts of Operations Director and Deputy Chief Exec. Cordell will be supported by Dave Jones who has returned to CCP to take up the post of Deputy Chief Exec.
