Corporate Support Options

BusinessCorporate and Business Partnerships

CCP is keen to build lasting relationships with corporate partners, both locally within Gloucestershire and nationally. A partnership with CCP can help demonstrate corporate social responsibility and meet business objectives such as differentiation from competitors, increased brand awareness and sales, increased reputation amongst business peers, a higher level of staff morale and enhanced public perception .

CCP is the foremost social care charity in Gloucestershire. We have an ever-increasing level of brand awareness and your staff, customers and stakeholders will support a partnership with a charity that works for the direct benefit of their local community.

CCP aims to mitigate the effects and prevent the causes of disadvantage affecting children, families and vulnerable adults. By forming a partnership with us, your company can play a direct role in making peoples lives better.

It is our policy to acknowledge all our supporters unless otherwise requested. We are happy to provide publicity opportunities, web links and media coverage. If you think you can help us, have a go at our Corporate Support Survey, or contact us using the Contact Form .

Here are some ways to provide mutual benefit:

Employee Fundraising and Charity of the Year

Consider adopting CCP as your Charity of the Year. This can serve as a great team building activity for your staff. By encouraging them to work together on fundraising projects, they can gain new skills and develop an ethos of team play. This leads to improved staff morale and motivation and will enhance your company image amongst your staff, customers and the wider community. It also opens opportunities for staff to volunteer and share their business skills with CCP. Further benefit and motivation can be gained if the company agrees to match the funds raised by employees.

Cause Related Marketing (CRM)

Distinguish your business from that of your competitors. A CRM scheme in partnership with CCP is particularly of benefit to local businesses competing to sell goods to members of the public. Given a choice of similar products, 77% of people are positively influenced by a cause related partnership and are more likely to purchase from the supplier who openly supports a local charity. In return for donations based on a small percentage of your sales or profit, CCP will provide branded marketing materials for display in your premises and will promote your business on our website, in published reports and through the local media. Your profile will be raised and potential customers are more likely to buy from you than your competitors.

Payroll Giving

One of the easiest and most tax efficient way to give to charity. Currently, over 9000 businesses in the UK operate payroll giving schemes with 5 million employees making regular donations. Your company payroll department can deduct an agreed monthly amount from gross salary, meaning that employees receive tax relief at their highest applicable rate. For basic rate taxpayers, a monthly £10 donation will cost just £7.80 whilst the cost to higher rate payers is only £6.

Donations are passed through a Payroll Giving Agency to the employees nominated charity. Companies can add further value to this scheme by offering to cover the agencies administration cost, usually around 4% of the donation value.

For further information, see http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/charities/donors/payroll-giving.htm

Sponsorship

We can offer a range of sponsorship opportunities including CCP events and specific projects or services.

Why not consider sponsoring a page in our annual report? For a suggested donation of £500 we will publish your company logo and contact details, provide a link from our website and provide media publicity.

Gifts in Kind, Skills, Training

An easy way to donate staff skills, equipment or goods directly from your business. Donated items provide us with essential items for use within CCP, for passing on to people in need or to use as raffle prizes.

Also consider sharing or passing on specialist business skills or services. This can take the form of mentoring, free consultancy, project work, staff training etc. Or if you are running an in-house training course and have spare places, please offer to our staff. We are particularly in need of management, business, IT, personnel, marketing, fundraising and sales skills.

Corporate Trusts

If your organisation operates a charitable trust or foundation, please consider CCP as one of the beneficiaries. Attending a Seeing is Believing tour provides a good insight for anyone wishing to find out more about our services and our clients.
