 A house share for young people moving towards independent living.
Purpose
Chrysalis House provides a stepping stone for young people who are developing their independent living skills and have worked to address their support needs. It helps to prepare them for a move from supported accommodation to low level or floating support. Young people will typically stay at Chrysalis for between 6 months to a year.
Staffing and Support
All residents have an allocated Support Coordinator, based at the adjoining Bramah House, to provide general housing and lifestyle related support and advice. The Support Coordinator will also be responsible for working with any other appropriate agencies to maintain a comprehensive, portable, package of care and support. Young people living in Chrysalis House can call on additional support as needed, to help them stay engaged in structured daily activities (training, education or employment).
